Not only the best frank I’ve ever tasted. But quite possibly the best thing I’ve ever tasted !! Amazing to say the least. The freshness is undeniable and the taste is something I’ll savor for a while!! A must from now on at parties!!

As far back as I can remember, (45+years) my oma and opa would take my brother and me to Ehmers for wurst and the Butcher would give my brother and me a small frankfuter to eat while waiting-I wish I didn’t live so far away-would love to step back in time and remember the good ‘ole days 🙂 my grandfather ,Erich Messerschmidt,worked for Karl in the 1930’s !

The cocktail (or peanut) franks from Karl Ehmer are second to none. Fabulous, distinctive flavor. A desirable “snap” in each bite – the sign of a properly made frank.
However you prepare them, they are the best. I make a long drive to pick them up for myself, plus orders for friends and family…because these franks are worth it.
